We are delighted to announce that our Ecovis London Foundation charity has been awarded the “Corporate Volunteering Team of the Year” by Thames Reach.
Receiving the award are (from left to right in the photo) David Whelan (Director of ELF), Emma Glancy (ELF Trustee), Robert McCann (ELF Trustee) and Ben Smith (Chairman of ELF).
The award was presented to ELF in grateful appreciation of the dedicated “Step up to Work” support services that Ecovis London Foundation have provided over 6 years on a weekly basis. Whilst also providing additional support over the years to Thames Reach clients, such as Christmas boxes, clothes collections, refurbished laptops, mentoring services and the use of Ecovis’s offices for Thames Reach team ‘away’ meetings.
David Whelan, the Director of Ecovis London Foundation, was presented with the award at a ceremony on 26th of June at Thames Reach’s HQ in Peckham by Bill Tidman, Chief Executive Officer of Thames Reach.
Bill said that he was,
“delighted to award this to Ecovis London Foundation for all the many years of the commitment and contribution that ELF has given Thames Reach.”
ELF was the only corporate charity to continue working with Thames Reach throughout all of the COVID19 pandemic. David responded,
“I am so honoured to have the work that ELF does recognised. The charitable work we do and deliver helps and supports the most vulnerable in our society, This would not be possible without the continued support from the Ecovis partners and employees. This award means so much to the charitable work that I do on behalf of Ecovis and which I am so passionate about. It also resonates with others who fully support what we do. I would like to thank the Ecovis London Foundation Trustees for all the support they have given me personally over the last few years”.
