This Autumn the independent television production sector celebrates reaching a new record of £3.3 billion of revenue in 2019, predominantly driven by international revenues which exceeded £1 billion for the first time. This is a bitter pill to swallow as, at the time of writing, the global coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the industry. With production beginning to resume we all look forward to the production levels returning to both meet the global demand for high-quality content that we know is there as well as showcase the abundance of talent that we are able to attract and develop throughout the life-cycle of production, from edit, to on-screen talent to innovation in edit and post-production.
