Nilaani Murugesu

Hello, I’m Nilaani. I have recently joined Ecovis Wingrave Yeats as a graduate in the Audit and Business Advisory team. I graduated in 2019 with a medical degree, followed by working clinically for two years and another two years focussed on teaching medical students. During this time, I explored alternative career paths and I was drawn to Audit and Business Advisory due to the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of people and businesses, as well as the intellectual stimulation and analytical components that come with problem solving.

When asked what I enjoy about my role, it is the people and culture at Ecovis that immediately come to mind even within such a short timeframe.

• What are your favourite hobbies?

Socialising with friends and work colleagues, as well as going for a scenic walk (especially by a lake or river).

• My favourite meal

Lasagne

• If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Teleportation, as it would allow me to have more time with friends and family, and at the places I visit on holiday.

• What languages do you know how to speak?

On a good day, some Tamil and French (usually enough to hold a basic conversation).
