A bit about me
Hello, I’m Moosa. I began my professional journey in the audit field as an Audit Associate in the East Midlands in 2023. During my time there, I was responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role provided me with a solid foundation in financial analysis and auditing practices.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards. I am passionate about continuous improvement in audit processes and am committed to helping organisations achieve financial transparency and accountability.
As an Audit Associate at Ecovis, I enjoy the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, which keeps my work both challenging and rewarding. However, my favourite aspect of working at Ecovis is the people. The team is composed of highly skilled professionals who foster a collaborative and supportive environment, making each day enjoyable and fulfilling.
Personally speaking
- What are your favourite hobbies?
I’m always eager to try new things and learn new skills. A few things that I’ve picked up along the way are knitting/crochet, running (preferably with a club), reading crime thrillers, cooking for friends and best of all baking! I’m a big fan of a sweet treat 🙂
- What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
From running the London and Berlin marathons and also skydiving last summer, I push myself to get out of my comfort zone and explore. My most difficult challenge to date has got to be cycling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen for charity- after 5 long days and 420 miles me and my team managed to reach our destination and raise an incredible £450K!
- What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
Every year I like to take on a new challenge. A few I hope to achieve over the next few years are getting a skydiving and scuba diving licence, compete in an Ironman triathlon and to backpack Europe and Asia. I’d also love to get into mountaineering and who knows, maybe peaking Everest is in my cards…
