A bit about me
Hello, I’m Michael.
I am a Partner and Responsible Individual (RI) at ECOVIS Wingrave Yeats, specialising in statutory audit, corporate finance and business advisory services. Having joined the firm in 2015 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2018, I work with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial growth companies to multinational groups, private equity backed businesses and international organisations. My focus is on providing practical, commercially driven advice that helps clients navigate complex challenges, achieve their strategic objectives and create long-term value.
A significant part of my role involves supporting businesses with international operations, overseas shareholders and cross-border transactions. Working closely with colleagues across the ECOVIS International network, I lead and coordinate engagements spanning multiple jurisdictions, delivering statutory audit, due diligence, business valuation, financial reporting and wider transaction advisory services. I enjoy developing a deep understanding of each client’s business and industry, enabling me to provide advice that extends beyond compliance requirements and supports informed decision-making.
Alongside my client responsibilities, I am a member of the ECOVIS International M&A Taskforce and an elected member of the ECOVIS International NextGen Board, where I work alongside peers from around the world to strengthen collaboration across the network, develop international service offerings and support the next generation of leaders within the profession. I am passionate about building trusted relationships and acting as a long-term adviser to business owners, management teams and investors as they grow, adapt and succeed.

Family time (which largely involves running around after my very energetic son), following my beloved Sheffield United and travelling.
