Max McGrath

Hello, I’m Max. I am an audit associate working in Ecovis’s Business Advisory department. I graduated University in the Summer of 2018 and joined an accountancy practice in Henley in their audit department.  I worked there for two and a half years before joining Ecovis in September of 2021. In that time, I gained a wide range of experience auditing a number of different clients across different sectors. In my short time at Ecovis, I have been able to apply my knowledge to the wide range of clients we have here. We have an array of great clients and I have a specific interest in the Media industry, Ecovis works with some great production companies.

Ecovis has been incredibly welcoming since I joined in September of 2021. Working with many talented and dedicated individuals has been great and everyone has offered guidance and help whenever I’ve requested it. The culture at Ecovis is definitely one of supporting one another and one of nurturing the more junior staff coming through so that everyone is growing and progressing in their careers. The staff benefits and team events are also great fun.

Favourite hobbies

Outside of work, I play weekly five-a-side football and enjoy running, chess and skiing. I regularly enjoy socialising with family and friends.

My favourite meal

It has to be a big Sunday Roast.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Time travel!

What inspires you?

I find a lot of inspiration in watching sport.

What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?

Live in the moment and enjoy yourself.
