Hello, I’m Manisha.

Having worked in tax for over 20 years, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of tax disciplines, including Personal Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CIS, R&D tax relief and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs. Throughout my career, I have worked with businesses of varying sizes and across different sectors, helping them navigate complex tax matters while ensuring compliance with ever-changing tax legislation. Over time, I have developed a strong technical knowledge base, particularly in corporation tax and tax reliefs, and enjoy supporting both clients and colleagues with practical, commercial solutions.

One of the things I most enjoy about working at Ecovis is the friendly and supportive environment. There is a genuine culture of collaboration, where people are approachable and willing to share their knowledge. I also value the transparency within the firm, which helps foster trust, open communication and a sense of inclusion. The variety of work keeps every day interesting, and I enjoy building long-term relationships with clients while working alongside colleagues who are committed to delivering a high standard of service.

I aim to provide clients with timely, practical and commercially focused advice, ensuring that their queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively. I take the time to understand their business and tailor my support to their specific circumstances. A key part of my role is identifying opportunities to maximise available tax reliefs and incentives, including R&D tax relief and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs where applicable. By combining technical expertise with a proactive approach, I help clients manage their tax obligations, reduce risk and ensure they benefit from any available tax-saving opportunities.

• What are your favourite hobbies?

I am involved with a charitable organisation where I actively help with character-building for children from a Hindu perspective.

• A luxury item I’d take on a desert island

A yacht would be helpful!

• What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list?

I would like to travel to the Himalayas in India.

• If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

To clean my house and laundry in 5 minutes… I don’t like household chores!

• What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?

To enjoy every minute of the day and be confident enough to share your thoughts.

• What languages do you know how to speak?

I can speak Gujarati, Hindi and English as well as Swahili but not fluently.
