Linda Blackburn

Hello, I’m Linda, and I joined Ecovis in 2023 as the Compliance and Office Manager. After graduating in Business, I held various sales and marketing positions in the tech industry, and more recently moved into wealth management, in advisory and operations roles.

At Ecovis, I’m proud to oversee our excellent Business Support team – we recognise that behind every successful team of accountants stands an efficient and dedicated business support department, who provide the essential services that empower our colleagues to excel. From administrative support to ensuring the office runs smoothly, we strive to create a focused and pleasant working environment.

Working closely with our MLRO, I also assist in creating and refining compliant policies and procedures, and providing support and training to our staff. I am committed to fostering innovation, and enjoy collaborating with partners and managers to explore new systems and improve processes to boost our firm’s operational efficiency.

• What are  your favourite hobbies?

I play golf when I can, and enjoy travelling, walking the dog, renovating houses, and garden design.

• What luxury item would you take on a desert island?

Sunglasses… assuming it’s a sunny desert island!

• What’s your favourite music?

Rock music of all kinds, and anything 80s .

• What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Leaving my promising career to go travelling.

• Do you prefer coffee or tea?

Most definitely tea (Earl Grey if possible)

• Are you a cat person or a dog person?

I love them both but my Husky would leave home if I said anything other than dog!
