Katy Young

Hello, I’m Katy. I graduated from the University of Southampton with a 1st Class Honours degree in Mathematics (BSc) in 2021. Since then, I have started studying for the ACCA qualification whilst gaining some experience in finance, before continuing my career at Ecovis in April 2022.

What I like about Ecovis is that the team is really friendly and supportive, and everyone works together and is happy to answer any questions you have.

Favourite hobbies

I enjoy baking, reading, going on walks, as well as going to the theatre and watching musicals.

Alternative career choice

If I had to choose an alternative career it would probably be something to do with medical statistics or primary education.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger I wanted to be an author, or an actress in EastEnders, until I realised I was much better at Maths than at English, and I’m not very good at acting!

Coffee or tea?

I prefer tea over coffee, as I don’t like coffee.
