Karolina Gallou

Hello, I’m Karolina. I have recently joined Ecovis within the Audit and Business Advisory team. Having graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Economics, I gained accountancy experience in Cyprus as an intern with KPMG and Ernst & Young. I am really looking forward to continuing my career in accountancy with Ecovis in London.

I love that everyone in Ecovis is willing to help and the environment is really friendly. I look forward to gaining my Auditor qualifications and having the opportunity to learn more about our clients’ businesses and apply commercial acumen.

Favourite hobbies

I have quite a mixture of hobbies – ranging from snowboarding to scuba diving to travelling or just chilling with friends watching Netflix.

Alternative career choice

Having taken ballet classes for 13 years, I used to want to be a ballet teacher. My priorities have changed a bit since then and a career in accountancy seems a better idea!

My favourite meal

Sushi, pasta, and traditional Cypriot food.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

I’d like to be able to fly, because I would love to travel wherever and whenever I wish.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

What languages do you know how to speak?

Greek and English.
