Josmi Santhosh

Hello, I’m Josmi. I am a recent graduate in BSc Finance, Accounting & Management, currently training towards the ACA qualification within the Business Advisory team at Ecovis.

During my degree, I completed a placement year with The Walt Disney Company, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global commercial environment. This gave me exposure to financial processes and reporting at scale, and sharpened my attention to detail and commercial awareness, skills I’m now bringing into my audit career.

Since joining Ecovis, I am excited to work with a diverse range of clients across different sectors, giving me broad industry exposure from the start of my career. Beginning my ACA studies before entering the workplace also helped me build a strong technical foundation that I can apply in practice.

What stands out most to me about Ecovis, however, is its supportive and welcoming culture. Everyone has been incredibly approachable and encouraging, making it easy to settle in and feel part of the team from day one.

• What are your favourite hobbies?

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, which helps me stay active and unwind. During my degree, I also took part in a number of dance competitions, where I developed confidence, discipline, and formed many lasting friendships. I also have a passion for travelling and exploring new cultures. Some of my favourite recent destinations have been Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Switzerland, each offering unique experiences and unforgettable memories.

• Who is your favourite Disney hero or heroine?

Baymax from Big Hero 6 is definitely my favourite Disney hero. His caring nature, supportive personality and commitment to helping those around him make him both inspiring and incredibly endearing. Plus, who wouldn’t want a personal healthcare companion like Baymax?
