Andreas Hadjiyianis

Hello, I’m Andreas. Having just completed my Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance at King’s College London, Ecovis is my first job. I’m striving towards completing the ACA and CTA professional qualifications. I have however completed multiple internships in the fields of accountancy, audit, financial management, forex and tax. 

I really love how friendly the environment at Ecovis is. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful from the very start, helping me quickly adjust and settle in to this new environment. I do not feel stressed despite being in a professional work environment which makes me very motivated to be at the office every day.

I’m interested in audit, tax, financial management and bookkeeping specifically.

• What are your favourite hobbies?

My favourite hobbies are football, excising, watching movies and barbecuing

• If you could choose an alternative career what would it be?

Perhaps law or banking

My favourite meal is Cypriot Souvla

My first job was working as an ACA Associate

I enjoy listening to Greek music.

• What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Cycled all of Luxembourg in a day from the Belgian border to the German border.

I want to visit every country in Europe

• If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?

I’d have dinner with Christiano Ronaldo

• If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Have unlimited knowledge and experience of all areas of the finance industry.

• What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?

Don’t stress about everything so much, everything happens for a reason.

• What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Relax, don’t take everything so seriously.

• Who is your favourite Disney hero or heroine? Would you trade places with them?

I don’t have a favourite Disney hero, but my favourite hero is Captain America. However, I’m not sure if I would trade places with him as he went under the ice for 70 years!

• What sport would you compete in if you were in the Olympics?

I’d compete in the 100 metre sprint

• As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a football player

I can speak Greek and English
