Amelia Whillans

Hello, I’m Amelia. I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Economics before joining Azets, where I began my tax career and qualified as both an ACA and CTA. Over five years, I gained experience across a wide range of compliance and advisory work.

I joined Ecovis in February 2026 because I was drawn to its collaborative culture and practical approach to problem solving. I enjoy bringing clarity and structure to work that can feel complex, helping clients feel organised, informed, and confident in their tax position. My focus is on breaking complicated issues into a steady, well‑structured process so clients know their affairs are being handled carefully and consistently. I’m particularly interested in projects that involve navigating change – such as group developments, restructuring, or shifts in reporting requirements – and I enjoy supporting clients through these transitions in a clear, structured way.

Deckhand or captain on a superyacht.

Abseiling the spinnaker tower.
