Alex Fidgeon

Hello! I’m Alex. I joined the Ecovis Apprenticeship programme in late 2020 and have successfully achieved my Level 3 diploma in Business Administration in 2022. Working now as a HR Assistant, my role is predominantly focused on helping with HR matters and processes for the firm. I am now progressing my learning by completing the CIPD certification to better my knowledge and skills.

I enjoy working with my team closely and getting to know other departments too! The social events are also an amazing addition to my job and I would encourage staff to mingle and talk to people you wouldn’t usually cross paths with!

What are your favourite hobbies?

I am an avid record collector for the past 4 years and I have a keen interest in different genres of music. I love the physical element of having an album on vinyl and getting to appreciate it through another avenue other than streaming! I also love to travel when I can.

What is your favourite meal?

Anything with pasta.

What’s the most daring thing you have ever done?

I climbed a mountain with my Dad in Malaysia.

What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list?

To visit Japan!

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?

Taylor Swift.

Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Cat person – That’s a no brainer!

What languages do you know how to speak?

I can speak a little bit of Spanish from GCSE, although that was a while ago!
