Audit & Assurance
We work closely with our clients all year round as a trusted adviser and business partner. We believe it is important to understand our clients' operations, their industry and the issues they face in order to provide them with relevant and value added advice on an ongoing basis.
We provide audit and assurance support to a wide range of clients across the UK from small companies seeking voluntary audits to large private corporates, including some high profile organisations. In addition, our audit services cover:
- International groups (as group or component auditor)
- Charities and other not for profit organisations
- Reports on law firms under the SRA Accounts Rules; and
- Reports to grant providers
Using the latest audit software, our approach is risk-based and focuses on what matters. We report proactively on where we see weaknesses or inefficiencies.
As the audit threshold rises, many SME’s will be falling out of the statutory need to engage auditors. However, we believe that a robust external assurance or audit review is a key foundation to good governance.
From a learning and development perspective, we hold regular briefings for clients, including biannual Head of Finance Seminars, to keep our clients abreast of all relevant technical changes and issues relating to financial reporting and corporate governance. These are also good networking events for business leaders.
