Back by popular demand! Get ready for kick-off at the World Cup-on-Sea football tournament!
World Cup-on-Sea is a 28 team, 7-a-side football tournament being played on Southend United’s home pitch at the iconic Roots Hall Stadium on Saturday 20th May 2023.
Our Ecovis team is taking part in the tournament, which is open to businesses local to Southend-on-Sea who are able to field an all-male team of between seven and 13 players.
All profits from the event will be donated to their local charity, HARP. Like our own charity (ECOVIS London Foundation), HARP also supports homelessness and helps around 1,000 people on average every year who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness in Southend-on-Sea. They provide short and long-term accommodation, access to confidence-boosting training and activities, and crucial support to help local people overcome homelessness for good.
The event is aiming to raise £40,000 to support local people experiencing homelessness. The winners of the tournament will be crowned World Cup-on-Sea 2023 Champions!
