HR Executive

Part-time, Permanent Position

Due to growth within our Top 100 Accountancy Firm an exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team in the heart of London as an HR Executive on a part-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic generalist HR role. We are a Company who truly value and invest in our people and put training and coaching at the heart of our culture. It would suit a career-minded HR Executive or HR Advisor who is looking for a step up, but who still thrives on the administrative aspects of the role. It would be a great opportunity for you if you are looking to take on a new challenge whilst utilising your HR skills & knowledge in a standalone position on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Taking the stress out of recruitment for managers by coordinating the selection and interview process
  • Managing a seamless Induction process for new joiners
  • Coordinating and maintain staff records, including liaising with the ICAEW to ensure all training records are accurate and up to date
  • Being the first point of contact for employees and managers on everything HR related
  • Supporting the business in all people related activities (performance; absence, first line employee relations; flexible working; maternity / paternity etc.)
  • Supporting with staff engagement initiatives

Skills & Experience:

  • Graduate caliber and a minimum of Level 5 CIPD qualified
  • Demonstratable, practical, hands-on HR experience in a role of a similar level
  • Sound basic knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies and procedures
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Outstanding attention to detail and competent supporting recruitment processes
  • Calm under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
  • This is a standalone role with support where required from an external HR Consultant therefore you will need to be comfortable working on your own on a day to day basis with little need for direction
  • Experience working with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) could be advantageous
