Training & Coaching
Our emphasis is on the continued training and development of all our staff. We train staff internally, as well as using external training providers to ensure that all training needs are met. Your development is at the heart of our culture. It contributes to an engaging and positive workplace for everyone, provides opportunities to reward and recognise you, and helps deliver a differentiated service to our clients. We encourage a culture of coaching across all levels of staff and this is supported and led by management throughout your tenure with the firm.
Our trainees are supported through their training contract, attending college, and also receiving guidance and support internally. We appreciate that everyone is different and we work with our trainees to ensure that they are on a study path which is right for both them and us.
Development isn’t just about learning for trainees. It’s about sharing your expertise with others too. You’ll be encouraged to use your professional skills within the community to give back, but also to apply your teamwork, leadership, and communication skills in new ways that will help you stretch and grow.
Working with Clients
Our clients expect our staff to be enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated to help them with all of their business needs. We believe it is important for our trainees to be allowed to take on as much responsibility as possible. With our support, you will quickly become involved with clients and potentially working onsite where appropriate. You will also be given the opportunity to see work assignments from start to finish, giving you experience of the entire process.
We recruit trainees in each of our core teams Business Advisory and Audit, Management Accounts and Tax. You will work closely with the Partners and Senior Staff ensuring that you are exposed to as many clients as possible. Over time, you will be encouraged to join a department of your choice, that will help guide you to the right career path.
